Edgar Degas Screensaver - 210 Paintings
Turn your computer into a picture frame of masterpieces. Edgar Degas - 210 paintings
Degas (1834 - 1917) was one of the founders of the impressionism movement, although he disliked the term and thought of himself as working in realism, his work actually traversed many artistic styles.
His paintings display his mastery in the depiction of movement, apparent in his studies of dancers and of racehorses, and he liked to project how we view active scenes by cropping subjects awkwardly and by choosing unusual viewpoints.
Of course all this along with his alternating vivid use of rich and chromatic colour. Like strolling through the world's museums.
Why just hang prints? Turn your computer into a virtual picture frame of masterpieces.
You might find yourself noticing your own visual compositions, and seeing details in the everyday world around you in new ways.
Beautiful, educational, inspirational, elegant. (All images suitable for viewing by any age group).
